West Ham United's Declan Rice to switch football allegiance.
The news has been confirmed by FIFA.
Declan Rice will now be available for the upcoming Euro 2020 qualifiers for England against the Czech Republic and Montenegro.
The West Ham midfielder played three times for the Republic of Ireland but these were in friendlies which allows him to change international teams and represent the country of his birth.
England manager Gareth Southgate is to announce his squad next week for the next England international games.
