Jim Ratcliffe's message comes ahead of the Tour De Yorkshire
Owner of Team INEOS, Jim Ratcliffe has warned that he will not tolerate cheating in his team.
His comments come ahead of the 5th running of the Tour De Yorkshire that starts today in Doncaster. The mens race runs over four days, covering 384 miles, while the women's race runs over two stages with a combined total of 164 miles.
Ratcliffe is to invest 120 million pounds in the team over the next three years, following his acquisition of the team formerly known as Team Sky.
"I have no interest in using methods to enhance performance that you shouldn't use," he said, "but I've got absolutely no interest in cheating. That's not my game."
The Tour De Yorkshire finishes in Leeds on Sunday.
