Marcelo Bielsa expected to ring the changes as Leeds host Crewe in Carabao Cup
Diego Llorente could start for the West Yorkshire side
Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa is expected to make plenty of changes for his side’s home Carabao Cup tie against Crewe.
Diego Llorente has missed Leeds’ two Premier League games so far this season due to a muscle strain, but is closing in on his return.
Rodrigo (muscle strain) was an unused substitute in Saturday’s home draw against Everton and it remains to be seen if either he or Llorente will feature on Tuesday night.
Robin Koch is currently sidelined with a pubis injury, while the likes of Tyler Roberts, Helder Costa and Jamie Shackleton will be hoping for extended game time.
Crewe will be without suspended defender Luke Offord, who sits out a one-game ban for two yellow cards in Saturday’s home defeat to Accrington.
Dave Artell’s squad has been hit by a bout of norovirus and winger Owen Dale is one who is not expected to feature after being laid low by the illness.
Defenders Callum McFadzean and Donervon Daniels both recovered sufficiently to make the bench at the weekend and will be hoping to feature.
Alex skipper Luke Murphy will be returning to face his former club having spent five years at Elland Road until 2018.
