Weekend Lotto jackpot to be £7.1m after no-one wins midweek top prize
One Lotto player could claim £7.1 million this weekend after participants failed to predict all six numbers in Wednesday’s draw.
The jackpot would mean its winner could buy two private islands in the Bahamas, 19 Rolls-Royce Phantoms, or more than 8,000 iPhone 14s.
One player took home £1 million on Wednesday by matching five numbers plus the bonus, while another 50 correctly selected five numbers and won £1,750.
The winning Lotto numbers were 03, 20, 27, 34, 42, 58, along with the bonus number 48.
Set of balls eight and draw machine Merlin were used.
No players matched all five numbers to win the Lotto HotPicks, which uses the same numbers as the Lotto draw, but one matched four numbers to claim £13,000.
Thunderball hopefuls proved equally unsuccessful, with nobody claiming the top prize of £500,000.
However, two people won £5,000 each after matching five numbers – missing out on the Thunderball – while 34 players took home £250.
The winning Thunderball numbers were 09, 11, 25, 27, 35, plus the Thunderball number 05.
