"Special place in hell" for Brexiteers, says EU's Tusk

He was speaking at a joint press conference with Irish Taoiseach, Leo Varadkar

Brexiteers with no plan of how to deliver deserve a "special place in hell", that's according to Donald Tusk, President of the European Council.

His comments come ahead of a meeting with Theresa May tomorrow in Brussels, where the Prime Minster will be pushing for further commitments to the Brexit Withdrawal Agreement.

Tusk said  "I've been wondering what that special place in hell looks like, for those who promoted Brexit, without even a sketch of a plan how to carry it out safely."

Nigel Farage, who has campaigned for Britain to leave the European Union, hit back on Twitter on Tusk's comments saying: "After Brexit we will be free of unelected, arrogant bullies like you and run our own country. Sounds more like heaven to me."
