Minute's silence for Grenfell Tower victims
The national pause marks the one year anniversary.
A national minute's silence will mark the one year anniversary of the Grenfell tower victims at noon today. 72 people died in the fire when the clading of the building they were sleeping in set alight.
The structure of the 24 storey building was lit green at 1.07am this morning to remember the moment the alarm was raised while a memorial servie will also be held today.
Many surviving residents are still living in hotels despite the government's promise to rehouse them within a year.
