MP wants phones banned in school
The Culture Secretary wants them confiscated at the gates
The Culture Secretary has said he wants mobile phones banned in schools.
Speaking to The Telegraph, Matt Hancock says the devices should be confiscated by teachers before children start the day.
Mr Hancock said there's a responsibilty to make sure we regulate the amount of technology young people are exposed to. His main concerns being the affects of social media and teaching youngsters to use the internet responsibily.
