Lewis Hamilton claims Pole for the French Grand Prix
It's his 60th for Mercedes
Lewis Hamilton claimed Pole Position by over three tenths of a second at the Paul Ricard circuit for tomorrow's French Grand Prix, with his team mate Valtteri Bottas helping Mercedes to lock out the front row.
Charles Leclerc continued his good start to the season claiming third place in his Ferrari, the sister car wasn't as fortunate as Sebastian Vettel's weekend went from bad to worse. He will start in 7th place on the grid for tomorrows race.
Lando Norris heads an all McLaren third row with his best ever qualifying result in 5th, one place ahead of Carlos Sainz.
Hamilton leads the championship by 29 points.
