Judicial review application to be submitted on UK law on assisted dying
Paul Lamb was involved in a car crash in 1990 he's arguing the current law breaches his human rights.
Paul Lamb has announced that he has applied to the High Court for permission for a judicial review of the UK's law on assisted dying.
Mr Lamb has been paralysed from the neck down since a car accident in 1990.
He's arguing the law breaches his human rights against discrimination and respect for private life, as his disability prevents him from taking his own life in the way an able-bodied person could.
Mr Lamb has previously challenged the law alongside Jane Nicklinson in cases in 2013, 2014 and 2015.
He is represented by Leigh Day.
