Cummings has no regrets over Durham trip

Boris Johnson's adviser Dominic Cummings says he has no regrets over making a trip to Durham with his wife and child.

During a press conference in the Downing Street Rose Garden, Mr Cummings said he believed he was acting "reasonably" and within the law and that he had not considered resigning over the issue.

He said: "I don't think I am so different and that is one rule for me and one rule for other people."

He did admit he should have made a statement on his journey to County Durham earlier and also should have informed the Prime Minister before making the trip.

He claims he didn't inform the PM as Mr Johnson was himself ill at the time with coronavirus.
