Boris Johnson hits out at Theresa May's Brexit deal
The former Cabinet minister says it would be better to stay in the European Union, than to use Theresa May's Brexit deal, as she meets with MPs and European leaders to develop a plan B.
Some have called Boris Johnson's speech, at a JCB factory in Staffordshire, a leadership bid.
He said that he was "furious" that the government had even considered Theresa May's deal.
The speech caused a backlash from some, after he claimed he didn't say anything about Turkey in the run up to the Brexit vote.
But a letter to the Prime-Minister from he and Michael Gove warns that leaving the European Union is the only way to avoid having "open borders" with the country.
Turkey is not currently part of the European Union, but does share a customs arrangement with the bloc.
"The UK must leave the European Union on March 29th," he said.
The former London Mayor added it would be shameful for the UK to revoke Article 50.
That would mean delaying or even cancelling Brexit.
