The first round of hustings has been taking place in Birmingham
The two candidates for the Conservative Party leadership have been addressing the party faithful in Birmingham.
Boris Johnson and Jeremy Hunt delivered a short speech to the crowd before being questioned by Iain Dale.
Mr Johnson told the audience that the Conservative Party are in a dark place but also said that "it's always darkest just before the dawn". He also refused to answer questions about the incident which saw the Metropolitan Police attend the property that he shares with his partner.
Jeremy Hunt has committed to the Brexit path, stating that he has always voted to deliver the referendum vote from 2016. He's also said the party needs to have a social mission as well as an economic one.
