Manchester United will play Newcastle in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley after a 5-0 aggregate semi-final victory over Nottingham Forest.
United boss Erik ten Hag made six changes for the Carabao Cup semi-final second leg against Nottingham Forest.
Tom Heaton, Raphael Varane, Lisandro Martinez, Luke Shaw, Fred and Alejandro Garnacho came in, while Jadon Sancho was named in a matchday squad for the first time since October.
Forest made four changes to the side that lost the first leg 3-0.
Jesse Lingard was handed a start at his former club, with Scott McKenna, Willy Boly, Neco Williams and Orel Mangala coming into the side.
Neither side were able to break the deadlock in the first half, but both had chances.
Antony drilled a fierce effort just over and Wout Weghorst hit a post with a header from Casemiro’s cross for United, while Brennan Johnson and Emmanuel Dennis spurned good chances for Forest.
United ensured their place in the final with Anthony Martial’s goal in the 72nd minute, which made it 4-0 on aggregate.
Forest gave the ball away and Casemiro set away Martial, who was then on hand to fire home after Marcus Rashford’s shot had been blocked.
It was 2-0 less than four minutes later after Fred walked the ball in from a yard out after Rashford squared at the far post.
