Warning about another UK recession
A new report from the Resolution Foundation warns that Britain is facing its highest recession risk since 2007.
It calls for urgent planning to mitigate the effects of the next economic downturn.
The report identifies a slowdown in global economic growth and domestic uncertainty surrounding Brexit as key drivers behind the risk of recession, with the average economic shock estimated at a £2,500 loss for each household in the UK.
