Premier Inn announce their latest set of results
They have narrowed losses following Covid restrictions
Premier Inn is recovering quicker than expected from the pandemic, its owner said.
Whitbread told shareholders that while there are still uncertainties in its UK business, it expects revenue per available room to have return to pre-pandemic levels at some point in 2022.
Revenue in the six months to the end of August was 39% lower than the same period two years earlier, but has more than doubled since last year.
Pre-tax loss narrowed from £724.7 million last year to £19.3 million, but is still far below the £219.9 million profit made before the pandemic.
