Radio NewsHub is two years old - and to celebrate we're giving away free news packages! Open to both existing and new customers.

Thursday 2nd March 2017 marks the second birthday of RNH - and we want you to be part of our celebrations.

We're going to be giving away free news for the entire year.

For 12 months two stations will pay nothing for 24/7 news.

This competition is open to both existing RNH stations and to new customers.

Simply upgrade or purchase 12 months news on two promotion days in March to be entered into our draw. We'll then draw a prize winner for each day.

A. Eligibility and How to Enter

As part of a birthday gift from Radio NewsHub (RNH), we are providing 12 months news for free for a total of 2 radio stations who purchase 12 months news upfront. This will be by providing a refund of the price of 12 months news (a “Refund”), subject to the conditions set out below.

All subscriptions must be made between 00.01 GMT and 23.59 GMT on the following days (each day is considered a separate “Promotional Day”): Thursday 2nd March 2017 and Friday 3rd March 2017. All customers will be automatically entered into the Promotion (each person an “Entrant” and RNH reference number) however each Winner is subject to the eligibility requirements outlined below.

Each Winner must be aged 18 or over on the booking date, purchasing RNH ad-link news for 12 months. This promotion doesn't include ad free news or RNH world updates.

Any subscription which is cancelled within 24 hours of the booking being made will not be a valid Entry. Any bookings which are not properly paid for (for example but not only where the relevant payment card is subsequently refused) will not be a valid Entry.

Each Entrant agrees to be bound by these conditions and winners may be required to acknowledge being bound by these conditions at time of acceptance of the prize.

This is open to new subscribers and current subscribers of RNH bulletins who pay monthly.

B. Procedure details

One Winner will be selected from Entries Thursday 2nd March 2017 and Friday 3rd March 2017. The winning entry (each a “Winner”) will be randomly selected by a computer program from all entries received on each Promotion Day. The Promoter’s decision is binding and final on all matters relating to the Promotion and no correspondence will be entered into.

Each Winner will be notified by a telephone call or e-mail from the Promoter up to 14 days after each Promotion Day. The Promoter will not require any further personal details (to those already held by the Promoter) from the Winner at this point to make the Refund.

Each Winner must acknowledge receipt of the Promoter’s telephone call or e-mail within 14 days of the Promoter’s telephone call or e-mail. If the Winner does not respond within this period, their Entry will automatically be withdrawn and another Winner will be selected at random using the same process described above.

The Promoter will make the Refund to the Winner within one month of the date on which the Winner acknowledges the Promoter’s telephone call or e-mail, subject to its right to reasonably vary the date.

The Refund will be made to the same payment card or bank account as used to make the initial booking.

The Winner is responsible for distributing the Refund (or any part of it) to any other station employees who contributed to the original purchase price of RNH News.

C. The Prize

Each Refund will include the total cost of RNH ad-link news, plus any administrative or credit card fees. The Refund will not include any amounts paid for any ancillary products or services (including but not limited to sport, business, showbiz, weather, bespoke services) Any Refund will also not include the cost of any additional services or any fees or costs incurred or paid after the initial booking has been made.

Any changes to the subscription which have been made after the initial booking time will not be taken into account as part of the Entry and any cost changes to the subscription will not be included in the Refund for the Entry.

D. Entrant’s/Winner’s Responsibilities and Rights

Each Entrant is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the information provided at the time of making the initial subscription application.

Each Entrant acknowledges that any costs not explicitly referred to be included in the Refund in these conditions in relation to the Entry will be borne by that person if they become a Winner.

The Winner cannot transfer the Refund to anyone else or any other account or payment card other than that which the booking was made on and there is no alternative prize.

Proof of eligibility to enter must be provided if requested by the Promoter. Employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or anyone else professionally connected with this Promotion are ineligible for this Promotion.

The prize is strictly for broadcast on the winning radio station only

E. General

The Promoter will only use the personal details supplied for the administration of the Promotion and for no other purpose without consent in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy.

Winners may be requested to participate in reasonable publicity arising from the Promotion.

The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any Entries where the Promoter knows or has reason to believe that the publication of their Entry could lead to damage to the Promoter’s reputation or business.

To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter shall not be liable to any Entrant for any loss or damage whatsoever caused (whether in contract, tort (including (without limitation) negligence), statutory duty or otherwise) arising out of or in connection with the Promotion.

Neither the Promoter nor its agencies will be responsible for the non-inclusion of Entries as a result of technical failures or otherwise, including any such failure which is within the control of the Promoter or its agencies. Proof of submission of Entry is not proof of receipt of Entry. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for system errors or other issues that may result in Entries or entry selection notifications being lost, delayed or not received.

In the event of any dispute the decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
