Murray beaten in first Rome match

Andy Murray lost to Fabio Fognini in straight sets in his first match at the Italian Open in Rome.

The British world number one lost 6-2 6-4 to the world number 29.

The loss continued Murray's poor form ahead of the French Open.

Murray's fellow Brit Aljaz Bedene was also knocked out in the second round by world number two Novak Djokovic 7-6 6-2.
