Terminally ill man takes end of life fight to High Court

A terminally ill man is preparing to begin a challenge for right to die - at a High Court hearing a little later today.

The High Court hears claim brought by Noel Conway later.

He's a terminally ill lecturer who is seeking the right to die.

Mr Conway suffers from motor neurone disease and is seeking a change to the law.

That would make assisted dying legal for those who are terminally ill with six months or fewer to live.

He wants his doctor to be able to assist him when his condition deterorites.
